Leap Year
I know this is cliché, but I honestly with I could just “leap this year”, lol. Today we registered for classes for next year, and it just enforced how much I just want next year to come and this year to be over. I can’t wait to indulge in AP classes and excuse myself from social outings to focus on school, as weird as that sounds. I’m tired of waiting to get my life...

My mom and I argued in a gallery in Quebec about the medium of a clearly Oil painting done with a palette knife before bothering to check the medium on the tag.
I don’t understand how someone could argue that the texture captured with oil could somehow be translated with acrylic, even if it does have an acrylic-like sheen.
Needless to say I was right, the painting was done in oil.
